Welcome...or welcome back! :)
With the Summer winding down, our attention turns to the Fall: the rebooting of programs, the re-energizing of ministry teams. To start off our worship this season, the worship "upstairs" will be harmonizing its theme with those of all three Sunday program streams (youth, school-age /Godly Play, and preschool). To help you get prepped for our time together with God, I'm posting below the scripture readings we will be using during worship. May God bless us all in this time of newness and renewal!

August 31: Matthew 17:1-8
September 7: Excerpts from Exodus 1-2 (Moses as a baby)
This Sunday we will all be spending the entire worship time together. The worship will also include the ritual of Holy Communion. As well, this will be our first worship service with Jeff Poynter as our music leader. (Welcome back, Jeff!)
September 14: Exodus 3:1-15 (Moses is called to lead his people.)
Today will be the kick-off for our Sunday programs for children and youth. As part of that celebration we will be continuing our tradition of this event (in part) by eating ice cream after worship. :) God and ice cream! What a great combination!
September 21: Exodus 14:19-31 (The journey to freedom)
September 28: Exodus 20:1-12 (God gives Moses the Ten Commandments.)
