Our Clergy Team
Ed Cawley and Erin Sterling share one full-time position as the clergy team at Pilgrim.
Ed originates from the Prairies, and earned a degree in Industrial Engineering before answering the call to ministry. Erin is originally from Surrey, BC, and earned her undergraduate degree in English and Women's Studies. The two met at Vancouver School of Theology in 1994, married in 1996 and graduated (and were ordained) in 1998. Equal partners in life and ministry, they enjoy a rambunctious family life with their three kids: Aidan (11), Ciaran (7), and Vivian (4).

Ed and Erin arrived at Pilgrim in July of 2007 after seven years in small-town Manitoba, and two years in Nova Scotia. They love creating meaningful worship experiences (everything from contemplative prayer to dancing in costumes with a live band), engaging in thoughtful and passionate discussions, and sharing food and fellowship with people of all ages.
Beginning in June of 2009, Erin will be working ¾ time while Ed is on leave from church work. You can usually find Erin at the church on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
